Library Procedures
Library Cards :
- Please Present a Drivers License OR ID with a local or County address
- A utility bill with the local address will also be accepted along with the ID or Drivers License.
- Library must be notified of any address or phone changes. Please report lost cards.
- Children under 18 years of age may have their own library card. A parent or guardian signature is required. Parent or guardian is responsible for all library material's borrowed on the child's library card.
- For the first thirty (30) days, new patrons will be limited to a maximum of two (2) items at any one time.
To Replace a Lost card, a fee of $ 5.00 will be charged
Renewing Materials :
Renew at the Circulation Desk during your regular visit
- If you are unable to make it into the library to renew, you may call (906)341-4316 and renew over the phone.
- New books are non-renewable and must be returned at the end of the two week lending period.
Lost or Damaged Items :
If an item is Lost or Damaged enough that it cannot be repaired and returned to circulation, the Borrower will be charged the cost of the item. If the item can be repaired and returned to the shelf the patron will be accessed a $3.00 fine.
Fees and Fines:
Overdue charges per item per day for books & CD's: $.05
Overdue charges per DVD per day: $1.00
Overdue charges per Cake Pan per day: $.25
Lending charge per Cake Pan per three (3) day lending period: $.50
Inter-library Loan charge is $1.00 per item
Fax per page: $1.00
Scanning to email: Free
Copies/Printing: $.15 per page
