Patron Information & Fees

Library Cards

  • Please Present a Drivers License OR ID with a local or County address
  • If the address on your ID does not match your current local or county address, a utility or tax bill showing your current local address must also be provided.
  • Library must be notified of any address or phone changes.  Please report lost cards.
  • Children under 18 years of age may have their own library card.  A parent or guardian signature is required.  Parent or guardian is responsible for all library materials borrowed on the child's library card.
  • Adult patrons may check out up to ten (10) materials at a time. Youth patrons may check out up to two (2) materials at a time.

To Replace a Lost card, a fee of $ 5.00 will be charged

Lost or Damaged Items

If an item is Lost or Damaged enough that it cannot be repaired and returned to circulation,  the Borrower  will be charged the cost of the item. If the item can be repaired and returned to the shelf the patron will be assessed a $5.00 fine.

Renewing Materials

Renew at the Circulation Desk during your regular visit

  • If you are unable to make it into the library to renew, you may call (906) 252-4316 and renew over the phone
  • You may also renew materials through our online account/catalog with your library card number and PIN

Materials cannot be renewed if they are on hold for another patron

Fees and Fines

  • Scanning to Email: Free
  • Copies/Printing: $0.15 per page for black & white; $0.50 per page for color
  • Fax: $1.00 for the first page, $0.15 for each additional page
  • Laminating: $0.50 per foot
