Author Visit - Lisa Wheeler
Visit with Author Lisa Wheeler! Join us for a special visit with Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum author, Lisa Wheeler, the 2017 Michigan Reads! book. Support for Michigan Reads! program is by the Federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) via the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan, part of the Michigan Department of Education. Additional support provided by Consumers Energy and the Library of Michigan Foundation, recognizing the link between libraries and children and families in providing quality books, programs, and services. Lisa Wheeler is the award-winning author of over 35 children’s books including Even Monsters Need to Sleep (2017) and the popular Dino-Sports series. Lisa's book, Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum is the 2017 Michigan Reads! One Book One State Children’s Book Program recipient. Her awards include The Michigan Mitten, Texas Bluebonnet, and the Theodore Geisel Honor given by the American Library Association.
